It occurs to me
That I am mistaken
In thinking
That I matter

Trying to help
Even though rejected
Willing to give
When I get nothing

Running out of
Anything to give
Expected to do
What I cannot

Why do I try?
I ask myself
Then I remember
Love thy neighbor

If in Man
I have no Fath
In family
How can I?

Not knowing
What else to do
Not knowing
How to do

Knowing I now
No longer
Give a damn
Of who or why

What they care
Is not a concern
For my heart
Is broken

My spirt is
Not far behind
Something that I
will not let happen

If that means
They come in last
Then they be damned
For I will not

God has not

Wishing it hadn't

For my children

Love, kindness
And security

In knowing
That they

Teaching them siblings
Are precious

Abandoned at all

For blood is
Supposed to be
Thicker than water
A bond not broken

Friends are important
But they come and go
Family God gives
Never to forsake

Choosing your friends
Over family
God did not give
For that to be

May I teach
My children to be
Better to be
Each other 1st

Get lost
Get a life
Life's a bitch
Deal with it.

Knowing his pride
Comes before me
Hoping it is
Good company

For pride is what
He will get
Not love
Nor company

Knowing his concern
Only shows to me
When people are
There to see

Haven't they heard?
What you give is
what you get?
Give cold and distant
and that is what
you will get.

There is the saying:
"When you Assume,
you make an ass out
of you and me."
